SHOW IS BACK TO CELEBRATE YEOVIL AND SOUTH SOMERSET
The Yeovil Show is set to return on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July promising regional food and drink, displays, demonstrations and attractions for the whole family.
Following its much anticipated and well-received return in 2016 after a fallow period from the 1960s, the popular agricultural show celebrates all things Yeovil and South Somerset and takes place at the Yeovil showground.
Local law firm Clarke Willmott LLP is one of the main sponsors.
Tim Hayden, Partner and Head of the Agriculture Sector at Clarke Willmott said: “The Yeovil Show was originally formed over 150 years ago and is undoubtedly an integral part of Somerset’s heritage.
“Not long after the inception of the Yeovil Show, Clarke Willmott was established in the South West in 1888 and our firm has since been supporting Somerset families and businesses for over 120 years.
“Many of our original clients would have been regular visitors to the show and with many farms being handed down through the generations some of the visitors to this year’s show will undoubtedly be descendants of those original clients.
“Whilst Clarke Willmott has grown and now has offices across the UK, including London and Manchester, its roots are firmly embedded in Somerset and it is therefore very fitting for us to be sponsoring the Yeovil Show in the second year of its renaissance.”
